Givenchy Couture Spring 2017 Focuses on 19th Century Native American Women

Givenchy Couture Spring 2017 Collection, Paris

Most would consider RTW Givenchy couture. So how then does a designer like Riccardo Tisci bring something even more special to a couture showing? For his Givenchy Couture Spring 2017 collection, Tisci looks at two beautiful, yet distinct cultures. The idea came in the form of a simple web search as Tisci discovered images of Native American women dressed in Victorian dresses. Originally debuted during Paris Fashion Week mens, top models Kendall Jenner , Bella Hadid, and Joan Smalls front the collection.
