Virgil Abloh, Drops New OFF-WHITE x Moncler Black Swan Capsule Collection
Virgil Abloh may not be the new creative director of Givenchy, but the streetwear designer is showing no signs of slowing down. After a successful Spring/Summer 2017 Moncler x OFF-WHITE ‘Moncler O’ release he has another drop. Picking up where they left off a few weeks back, the enigmatic partnership reveals a surprise ‘Moncler O’ capsule collection. Dubbed the “Black Swan”, the range offers an assortment of sleek streetwear. The lineup includes athletic pieces like windbreakers, T-shirts, wind pants, long sleeve tees, chino pants, caps, and knit sweaters. In rhythm with the style of the prior release, the addition is all about classic, sporty vibes.
However this time around Abloh pans in on a more defined color palette. Consisting primarily of all black looks modernized with a bright orange logo, the line is falls between athleisure and classic streetwear. Fit is super relaxed. We see long, skater tees and classic chinos in khaki and black. The “Black Swan” motif makes a literal appearance by way of bright orange text across the chest and arms of tees. Even better, it’s just in time for the launch of the new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Zebra.
The new ‘Moncler O’ Black Swan capsule collection is now officially available for purchase. Prices range from $270 to $1265 USD. You can find the full collection including its Spring/Summer 2017 offerings at select retailers online and in-store.
