15 Year Old Willow Smith is On the Cover of CR Fashion Book’s Latest Issue Photographed by Bruce Weber.
Willow Smith takes to Issue 9. of Carine Roitfeld’s, CR Fashion Book. The fifteen-year-old millennial stars in the ninth edition with more force than ever. As of recent, the teen landed a Teen Vogue cover, and as a newly credited Chanel brand ambassador, Smith took on a Chanel eyewear campaign. For Karl Lagerfeld’s latest muse, this marked her first print gig for brand. The young model, musician and not to mention, daughter of Will Smith, was given the dignity of Chanel muse in March and has since publicly promoted the brand both front row, and attending events.
In ascending further than the role of Chanel brand ambassador, the young musician starred in Chanel’s eyewear campaign. Drowning in jewels from the FW16 collections, Smith delivers a unique air to Chanel that feels so undeniably full of life and diversity and refreshing in its arrival. Smith brings a sense of determined individuality to an already existing and perceived atmosphere. The campaign was styled and photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
In the recently released preview of Willow Smith for CR Fashion Book, the young teen is photographed by Bruce Weber, in a series of looks styled and edited by Carine Roitfeld. The photographs are depicting of Smith’s eccentricity and rebelliousness. In The Weber Series, Smith is featured in a series of three photographs, each differing from the other in their manner. One photograph features Smith in a school uniform-like styling with the signature edge and bite she has been stylistically noticed for. Her beret introduces a new form a classicism as it is laced with pins. In another shot, Smith is dressed in a button down collared shirt, overlaid with a lace-up corset.
The issue features the entirety of The Weber Series, as well as portfolios by Mario Sorrenti and Terry Richardson. The issue hits newsstands on September 15. Check out all three of Willow Smith’s CR Fashion Book Covers below and stop by the mag’s site to read more.
