Rita Ora x Adidas Originals: Rita Ora Releases her Latest Collection for Adidas Originals.
Singer and Designer Rita Ora proves that she has some serious staying power as she debuts the “Artistic Lights” collection, the latest collection in the young fashinoista’s collaboration with Adidas Originals. Inspired by the beauty of acrobatics, the starlet offers a collection filled with streetwear standouts poised to make a statement for athleisure fans everywhere.
Ora sat down with the editors of Nylon to talk more about her inspiration on this latest collaboration.
Rita Ora on being Inspired by Trapeze Artist for her Artistic Lights Collection:
I just loved their movement and the complexity. I don’t have experience with acrobatics, but I love yoga and exercise, and as an artist it’s rewarding to see how others express themselves via movement as I do with music.
Launched on April 1st, the capsule collection offers a bold new take on activewear. A press release published by Adidas described a few key elements from the collection, “Skinny pencil skirts and leggings feature all over prints or cut away sections, while shorts sport clear nylon overlays. New silhouettes include a dropped shoulder sweater with cut away hip and a track top and sweater with elbow cut outs while bands of three stripe taping frame contour-defining cuts. Footwear repeats the Reflecting Lights graphic on the cult favorite Adilette while the crowd pleasing ZX FLux is wrapped up in trapeze inspired bandage taping.”
