Palace Clothing Spring/Summer 2017 is for Cool Dads (and Sons)
Amidst a Season full of streetwear mayhem, the latest drop comes from London based skater brand Palace Clothing. Much like the new offerings at Supreme and OFF-White X Moncler, Palace Clothing SS/17 is all about updated streetwear classics. The line has an undeniable retro vibe. It’s not just the ’90s aesthetic. There’s also seems to be a certain refusal to adopt the new school of modern streetwear. Perhaps it’s just Lev Tanju’s way of staying true to his vision. He’s long championed the cool dad trend. “Dads come in and buy shit, it makes me so happy, he shared back in 2016. “We have sons and dads coming in. I’m like ‘yes’ – because dad wants to be cool at work.”

Well, the Palace clothing lineup for Spring /Summer 2017 definitely gets the job done. The offering includes colorful outerwear, brightly hued sweaters, flannels, graphic tees, and lots of camo print. Yup, there’s camouflage Palace clothing including a vest, jacket, and pants. Perfect for those father-son adventures into the streetwear wilderness. Tanzu also delivers a classic feeling black and white stripe soccer jersey and even a Palace racing jacket. The Palace clothing logo is seen in a few different versions. From its minimal triangle-shaped design to large graphic text writ across Palace shirts, jackets, and jerseys.
The new Palace Clothing Collection officially launches at Palace’s London location on Friday, February 24. Everyone else can shop the collection on March 3, via Palace Clothing online. Until then, click on any image below to explore the new lineup.
