Day two of New York Fashion Week offered a neutral palette of earth tones, cool ice blues, creams, and subdued shades of metallics; setting the tone for a revival of sleek, confident, and daring femme fatales. Nothing was too big or bright, but all was minimal and subtle. Silhouettes were soft, often referencing the relaxed elegance of the 70s, where waists were cinched revealing hints of skin here and there creating modest drapes and shifting lines of conturing contrasts. The designers displayed soft hands and a strong editing eye revealing versatile garments , just as practical as they are elegant.
