HM x Kenzo: Get a First Look at the H&M x Kenzo 2017 Collection.

The H&M and Balmain collection was one of the most successful fashion partnerships of 2015. The announcement, prompted pure fashion hysteria.  Countdown clocks were set and long lines were seen down 5th Ave in Manhattan and across the streets of Paris. So who would H&M decide to collaborate with this year after the tremendous success of the #BalmainNation mania of 2015? The Swedish fashion house finally revealed the answer we’ve all been anticipating on Twiiter recently, revealing the brand would be working with famous Japanese brand, Kenzo.

With high expectations the fashion houses’ creators are strategically keeping quiet. Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have been pushing the boundaries of their creativity since 2002 when they created the popular clothing company Opening Ceremony and haven’t stopped since. The pair’s introduction to the LVHM owned fashion house Kenzo, back in 2011 created a cascade of memorable and fun collections that have been applauded. Now, the opportunity to work with H&M in 2016 is sure to motivate the duo even more, and we cant wait to see how the coupled talent plans to show stop next when H&M opens up their doors to consumers November 3rd of this year.
