Dane DeHaan Covers W Mag and Talks New Movie “Valerian”
Dane DeHaan covers W Magazine and talks about his newest starring role. Actor Dane DeHaan is a true thespian. Named after a priest from cult novel and tv mini-series, The Thornbirds, DeHaan built his life around the craft. The hard work certainly payed off. The actor’s roles include Harry (the Green Goblin) in The Amazing Spider-Man 2; James Dean in Life; and Lucien in Kill Your Darlings. However, Dane’s latest leading role takes his star status to new heights, literally. The 31-year-old actor leaves his sidekick role behind and becomes the leading hero in Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. The high-profile film is already garnering media attention. Directed by Luc Besson, the film is reported to be the most expensive film in European history. The cost- $180 million.
For the cover DeHaan is lensed by photographer Craig McDean. Holding a hand up in front of the camera, he offers a charismatic gaze.
