SuperMoschino: Jeremy Scott and Moschino Team up with Nintendo for the Brand’s Latest Capsule Collection.
No one pull’s on our heartstring’s of nostalgia quite like Creative Director Jeremy Scott. In the designer’s latest campaign for Italian fashion house Moschino, Scott joins forces with Nintendo as the company celebrates the 30th year of everyone’s favorite mustache wielding go-kart racer, Mario. With the usual Jeremy Scott signature finesse, Mario and his pals are brought to life like never before.
This isn’t Scott’s first foray into the world of cartoon figures and play time nostalgia. The designer created iconic collection inspired by Barbie, McDonalds, SpongeBob, and Lonney Tunes in seasons past and from what we can tell fan’s are definitely all in. In this latest collection dubbed, “SuperMoschino”, the brand promises that the collection will be adorned with images of Luigi, Princess Peach, coins, stars, and mushrooms. While, we’ve only got a glimpse at Mario for now, we’re sure that the other designs will be just as dope.
If you’re a Mario or Nintendo fan fret no more, it looks like the ‘SuperMoschino’ collection will be here just in time for the Holidays. According to the brand, shoppers can pick up their favorite nintendo fashion piece as early as Dec. 5 on Moschino’s website and in select stores around the world.
