RIHANNA ANTIDIARY: Rihanna Shares Her latest Studio project,Â ‘AntiDiary’, in partnership withÂ Samsung.
There hasn’t been much in the way of major sound waves from Rihanna since the release of her last album Unapologetic in 2012 (other than her exploits with #R8), but this all changed last week when the pop star teased us with the release of her eighth studio album, AntiDiary. On November 19, our favorite bad girl tweeted a link connecting fans to ANTIdiaRy.com, a site powered by Samsung. The futuristic site, devoted solely to the stylized release of Rihanna’s latest album prompts users to enjoy the entire experience through their mobile phones while patiently awaiting the official release of the album.
Left with a climatic message: “You’ll know when it’s time.” Rihanna and Samsung promise an entertaining, suspenseful build up to the artist’s latest release. Apparently one of those time’s was during Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards where the starlet released more cryptic messages during the show’s commercial breaks powered by Samsung. The storyline so far involves Rihanna following two children before finding a #R8 key. We’re guessing this is some sort of metaphor symbolizing a new chapter for Rihanna, as one of the two children seems to have an uncanny resemblance to the artist’s Roy Nachum-designed album cover,
Samsung seems to be holding up to its promise of delivering an entertaining, interactive experience transforming the mobile experience into a virtual series of rooms in which users are prompted to discover clues which will ultimately lead them to the release of Rihanna’s new album.
