Adele is On the Cover of Rolling Stone Magazine and Gives Us a Glimpse at Her New Album and Personal Life
Perhaps no artist has been missed as much as British Icon Adele and Luckily it appears that the 27 year old Star is Coming Back Stronger than ever as she appears on the November cover of Rolling Stone magazine completely confident and make up free.
The media went absolutely insane at the first rumors of Adele’s new album ’25’ and we were all reminded of the singer’s universal appeal to wow us all as we listened to climatic previews to the first album single “Hello” before finally be hypnotized by the unbelievably powerful full EP and music video. Adele revealed some of her inspiration behind the song in her interview with Rolling Stone, “Hello’ is as much about regrouping with myself, reconnecting with myself.” As for the line “hello from the other side”: “It sounds a bit morbid, like I’m dead,” she says. “But it’s actually just from the other side of becoming an adult, making it out alive from your late teens, early twenties.”
The admittedly private star also talks about fame and the late Amy Winehouse. “People think I hate being famous,” Adele says. “And I don’t. I’m really frightened of it. I think it’s really toxic, and I think it’s really easy to be dragged into it.”
“Watching Amy deteriorate is one of the reasons I’m a bit frightened. We were all very entertained by her being a mess. I was fucking sad about it, but if someone showed me a picture of her looking bad, I’d look at it. If we hadn’t looked, then they’d have stopped taking her picture. That level of attention is really frightening, especially if you don’t live around all that showbiz stuff.”
At an astounding 265 million + views, Adele’s latest single is already a success; the only question is exactly how much will she give us. At the moment, there is no official plans of a tour for “25” and we’ll all just have to wait and see what she has planned next!
