See Busardi AW15 Couture Collection, Paris Couture Week

Busardi Made Fashion History as the First Thai Label to Show at Paris Couture Week Last Season, and Present Yet Another Knock Out Collection for Paris.

“The sky before sunrise is soaked with love and light, but she ultimately chooses to see fear and darkness. She’s like the Queen of the Night.” -Busardi Muntarbhorn, Creative Director of Busardi

Following the success of the brand’s first appearance in Paris last season as the first Thai brand to show at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the fashion house returned with a sensational AW15 collection sure to rival any top fashion house.

Creative director Busardi Muntarbhorn has an affinity for creating emotionally brilliant tales within his collection. This time around we’re introduce to Epiphyllum Oxypetalum or “Queen of the Night”, a mysterious white flower that blooms once a year under the veal of night. The designers story came to life in every aspect of the grand production.

Intricately bedazzled, tufted, and feathered gowns fluttered across the runway in a dark ethereal color palette of violet and pink.  Rich black gowns found themselves interspersed between almost as if making the idea of night more tangible. The brands signature Guipure lace appliqué made several appearance as did an assortment of brocade, duchess satin, cloqué, organza, Thai silk, Chantilly lace, floral printed jacquard and embroidered tulle. As if the concept was not strong enough, Busardi accentuated looks with a brilliantly inspired floral head piece in a rich violet hue made even more spectacular by its bits of iridescence that flashed here and there.

For a flower that only blooms once a year, Busardi sure gave us one hell of a show.
