McQ by Alexander McQueen Debuts its New AW15 Ad Campaign and Brand Logo on the Brands 10th Anniversary.
The McQ Alexander brand is doing what McQueen does best, reinventing itself and reminding us that it only gets better. As the brand approaches its 10 year anniversary since late designer Alexander McQueen launched the concept, we’re presented with a rebellious new logo and overall aesthetic in the brands AW15 Ad Campaign.
Photographed by Harley Weir, the style is modern and provocative. With modelsÂ Alexandra Elizabeth Ljadov and Tobias Lundh fronting the campaign, the brands new logo takes center stage as its strewn boldy across their bodies, almost without regards to the garments.
“The logo takes the name of the house of Alexander McQueen and uses redaction-style black out to leave only ‘McQ’ visible. The new logo represents McQ’s irreverent attitude and rebellious spirit, redefining the relationship between McQ and Alexander McQueen.”, said a representative from McQ in an official statement.
