The British have always understood the beauty of  tartan. Paul Smith offered glimpses of this reinvigorated textile as he explored a cool palette tinted with dark blues and greens.

A mother of pearl is a one of a kind, invaluable jewel- and this is exactly what the brand of the same namesake offered in their latest collection full of metallic texts that shimmered in almost every angle of light.

Preen presented plaid in a different light, with brighter colors, and florals, it encompassed an uplifting attitude. Accompanied by makeshift construction, the collection was grounded by an eclectic collage of prints creating an effervescent vibe full teeming with youthful intrigue.

Mulberry’s interpretation of plaid was soft, with blown up buffalo plaid print overcoats and a neutral color palette.

Temperley’s show fell on the same day as the Oscars giving us a glimpse at an elegant season. The collections prints hinted toward vintage Poiret brocade whilst taking on contemporary silhouettes. As a whole, the collection was a spectrum of this season’s hottest trend, bold Prints.
